In all my trips to Thailand, I'd describe this hotel as "quiet horror, loud shock." The standard rooms have no balcony or windows. This isn't mentioned anywhere in the description on Booking.com. The standard rooms are very dark due to the lack of a window. There's dust under and above the bed (on the drywall). There are no nightstands. The closet is simply a recess in the wall with three hangers. The safe can be carried out by lifting it under your arm. The room is very narrow. For some reason, there's a window in the wall into the hallway, which blocks light at night. The bathroom door is made of glass that doesn't close tightly and doesn't reach the ceiling (like a partition, and you can hear all the toilet sounds). There's nowhere to dry your swimsuit and other clothes because there are no windows or dryer, not even in the hallway. Book only rooms with a balcony and windows. Location-wise, everything is close by (and Patong itself is not very large). The staff is polite.
