Nasama is a excellent place to stay. Wonderful helpful staff, two restaurants on site, cafe Vila, for breakfast and dinner, and has a bar on the side to relax. And three pigs for lunch and dinner, also bar drinks, cocktails etc available.
Exposed spot, in prevailing wind zone. Check the weather but better to book in more sheltered spot for accommodation if in doubt. Oceanbreeze room we rented was tired and under the sink smelt mouldy, folding door rotten and not operating properly. No hot water for first few days. Breakfast was great. Not a place I would return too though.
We had a wonderful stay at Nasama Resort! Our accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the entire resort had such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the amazing teams at Cafe Vila and Three Pigs — their service was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nasama Resort and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Vanuatu. We will definitely be returning! 🌴
I had a lovely stay at Nasam Resort. The rooms are nice, and have a ceiling fan and air con. The pool is lovely and has a great view of the sea. There are two restaurants on site, Cafe Vila (for breakfast which is included, and dinner) and the three pigs open for lunch and dinner. Both have great options and delicious food. Reception can help you organise trips and transfers back to the airport. You can also book massages as well but I didn’t use this. Also included are free kayak rentals but again I didn’t get chance for this. There’s a small shop across the road for basics such as water, drinks, snacks etc. The only downside is the distance from Port Vila (about 3-4km), but there are regular buses which come. The buses are mini buses which have a ‘B’ on the number plate. Flag one down and it’s around 150 Vatu to get into town.
We enjoyed our stay at Nasama, the staff were always very helpful and had the best advice. Being able to book different tours and transport from reception was brilliant. Saved us from making a few first timer mistakes. The pool was very nice, plenty of loungers and the outdoor furniture was comfy. We really enjoyed the mini reef at the front, even though the weather wasn't the best we could still have a swim about. The hot water was a bit of an issue, especially in the evenings. Perhaps because the solar heating wasn't very effective during the cloudy days, but it was always hot in the mornings. Our roof developed a leak, which is a bit of a concern because we were on the ground floor. There are very frequent local buses going past so it was very easy to head into town, and with the reception booking other transport, getting around was no problem. The on-site restaurants are a very mixed bag, one was excellent and the other was far from it food-wise. There is also a small convenience store across the road which had all the essentials. For a first timer to Vanuatu, Nasama is an easy recommendation because of the helpful staff and for others, the location and amenities make it worth staying.
Our stay in a 2 bedroom oceanview apartment was perfect. The beds were SO comfy, the linens and towels so soft. The apartment was super spacious and very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The service was excellent and the location was perfect for us. This resort is not 5 star by Australian resort standards, but our EXPERIENCE at Nasama was definitely 5 star. We would absolutely return.
