rile* books is an independent bookshop at Rue des Commerçants 62, near Dansaert in central Brussels. It is listed as gay-friendly rather than an LGBTQ+ shop, though its stock of art, critical theory, feminism and culture books in English and French overlaps a lot with queer reading. The shop is small and run with a clear point of view, and reviewers mention the staff recommendations and the shop dog. It sometimes hosts readings and book launches, so check its social channels for dates. Google reviewers rate it 4.9 from a small number of reviews.
