Canopée guesthouse

Super friendly and welcoming! The rooms were extremely comfortable and homely and the kitchenette came in handy whenever I wanted something to eat. The breakfast served was great. The guesthouse is well connected to the rest of the city, so there's always lots to do nearby. Would highly recommend!

The guesthouse is amazing! The location is ideal: shopping streets, museums, parks and green areas are all within a short distance. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. They served a generous breakfast and gave us many useful tips. Would highly recommend it!

As a traveler who loves discovering new B&Bs, I don't think I've ever received such a cold and icy welcome in years. We felt like we were intruding from start to finish. It was a real relief to leave. In response to the owner's reply: sorry, but your response so, so, so confirms my point of view and it confirms everything my wife and I think! I received a payment request but not a mandatory payment date. Is it so surprising to pay on the day of departure at a B&B? I actually forgot to specify my arrival time because when I checked your email, it was asked at the very end of the email. Wouldn't a nice little email after booking asking me to pay beforehand and specify my arrival time before coming have been necessary and welcome, do you think? Why didn't you call me the same day if you noticed that the payment hadn't been made yet and the arrival time hadn't been communicated? I actually tried calling twice before coming, without a response, before being called back much later. You offered to take our suitcases, it didn't come from us, which we accepted very willingly, we wouldn't have minded in the least to take them. You offered to serve us breakfast by asking us the time. And I didn't even know that it wasn't planned, because absolutely nothing is clear in your communication and your message here proves it once again. And so, everything is open to interpretation. And so, it goes live. And finally, did you really think I was hoping not to pay? Do you realize how ridiculous your statement is when you wrote it? Aren't you tired of interpreting our behavior, of making statements without question, without even knowing us for a single second, without even taking the time to sit down with us and clarify the payment issue? Talk to my partner too, and you'll see if it's our style to hope to get invited and then get revenge. Only you could think in those terms and have that kind of idea. All you had to do was ask the question when we arrived, and the matter would have been settled. Instead, you said nothing; you thought I was trying to sleep for free without checking your feelings. No, sorry, I love discovering new romantic places, meeting people, and chatting. I pay every night, of course. I'm not an influencer, but an entrepreneur. Let's Go My Love is still very new, and I'm very happy that you're listed on much better sites, as you say, because obviously, I would never want another couple to have this kind of disastrous experience. You didn't respond to my offer to talk about it, but I didn't care; I still wanted to discover your place. I maintain that the reception was frosty, haughty, and terribly suspicious, even though clear communication from the start would undoubtedly have avoided this incident. I admit that I forgot to provide my arrival time because I'm never asked for it, and if an arrival time is required, a quick, friendly phone call can resolve everything. Even upon arrival, a friendly chat over a drink would have resolved everything, saying, "Okay, big misunderstanding, poor communication, you should have let us know, but we'll sort it out, and we're very happy to welcome you." And that was it. And that's it, have a nice day!

Impeccable, and perfect welcome

We loved our stay. Beautiful house, nice, clean and confy bedroom. Excellent breakfast. We definitely recommend this guesthouse to spend a weekend in bruxelles.
