Governor's Beach - conosciuta localmente come Aspra Vrahia ("Rocce Bianche") per le sue pale scogliere calcaree e la sabbia vulcanica scura - è una serie di piccole calette a circa 30 minuti di auto a est di Limassol verso Larnaca. Le calette più tranquille, lontane dai beach club organizzati, sono il punto di ritrovo gay e naturista più noto dell'isola e compaiono su guide di viaggio gay e directory di cruising. È un luogo diurno, di stagione estiva piuttosto che un locale: un tratto di costa non ufficialmente tollerato. Cipro ha depenalizzato l'omosessualità nel 1998 e la nudità pubblica non è formalmente permessa, quindi rimani nelle calette appartate, sii discreto e rispetta gli altri bagnanti.

Beautiful spot for sunset, camping and a quiet escape by the sea. 🌅⛺ This place is not only great for watching the sunset you can also stay overnight with a tent, which makes it even more special. The coastline is beautiful, peaceful and feels quite wild, especially in the evening. It’s a lovely place to come for a walk, enjoy the sea, watch the sunset or spend the night under the stars if you enjoy camping. I really liked the atmosphere here — simple, calm and away from busy tourist areas. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy nature, sunsets and more relaxed, less touristy places.
