Incredibly beautiful cemetery that honors the brave souls of the Second World War and Danes who lived a long and honorable life. The nature is beautiful, the roads are in good condition and the walking paths are endless. If you like nature, architecture and history, this is a nice memory in western Copenhagen.

Fantastically beautiful cemetery - Scandinavia's largest. Many famous people are buried here (The official list is online). There is also a large lake + a square water basin here. And chapels and portals.

I often walk here. It is an extremely nice and melancholic place to walk. I prefer the German mass graves, which bear witness to another time, now reduced only to the stones we have set up for it. When it gets pitch dark, you can't read the inscription, and the stones become as uniformed as the people who rest beneath them. In short, it is a formidable place to wander around and get peace of mind.
