This red-brick hotel opened in 1982 a few metres from Hans Christian Andersen's birthplace and ran for years as the Radisson H.C. Andersen before Comwell took it over; it now trades as a Dolce by Wyndham. It has around 150 rooms, a large conference wing, Restaurant Hans Christian, a casino and a fitness room, and the light rail stops outside. Lambda's bar on Brogade is about ten minutes on foot.

The hotel is very centrally located. Many attractions are within walking distance, such as the Danish Railway Museum and Storm's Park. The rooms are modernly furnished, the breakfast is extensive, and the staff is very friendly. Parking is available directly at the hotel and costs approximately €10 per day. The hotel also has a casino. The picturesque surroundings are perfect for strolling and sightseeing. Definitely recommended.
