Breidenbacher Hof

We celebrated my husband's birthday. Very friendly welcome. Doorman, car service, and room were top-notch. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we had a very good impression. It was strange that requests made by phone beforehand were only fulfilled in one of 3 cases. Why ask then? The night was not very restful, as several light sources in the room were disturbing and could not be turned off. The day of departure did not start so well. The breakfast was not that good for this category. The rolls were consistently hard around 9:30 a.m. The excellent service from the evening had been replaced by business-like staff. Jam in small jars is also rarely found in this category. I was very surprised by the fact that I could not take the stairs to our room, as this would have required special permission. The stairwell is said to be an emergency stairwell. I was wondering what happens in case of a fire. The guest doesn't even know where the stairs are and whether that is compatible with fire safety? The farewell by the doormen was very warm. So, ups and downs.

Having to be in Düsseldorf on business we were advised to stay at the Breidenbacher Hof . Little did we realize that it would be the finest hotel we had ever stayed in . Everything was perfect , the room , the cleanliness, the food , the relaxing “ living room “, but most importantly the wonderful staff . Each and every one of them were friendly , caring , efficient and helpful. On checkout I am always looking forward to the next adventure. Here I am disappointed to leave .

What a tremendous hotel. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The building itself, the rooms, bar, and restaurant were all gorgeous. The staff was as good as it gets. They all were so nice, welcoming and all had a great sense of humor! Honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've had in a very long time. Don't stay anywhere else. Even if you have to be in a nearby city like we did, just stay here.

What more is there to write that no one else has already written? As soon as you enter the hotel, you are away from the noise of the big city; everything is quiet and pleasant. The staff is top-notch, you can settle in well in the Living Room, and the rooms are wonderful.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, our stay at the Breidenbacher Hof was simply outstanding. This hotel truly represents the highest standards of luxury, elegance, and genuine hospitality. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with every comfort one could wish for. Every detail reflects quality and attention to excellence. What impressed us most was the exceptional service. Every member of the team was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. The concierge, reception, housekeeping, and restaurant staff all deserve the highest praise. The location is perfect, right on the Königsallee, making it ideal for shopping, sightseeing, and enjoying Düsseldorf's excellent restaurants and cultural attractions. The breakfast was one of the finest we have experienced anywhere in the world, with an outstanding selection of fresh, high-quality products and impeccable service. A special compliment also goes to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Despite its elegance and prestige, the Breidenbacher Hof manages to create a warm, welcoming, and relaxed environment that immediately makes guests feel at home. Without any hesitation, I rate this hotel 5 out of 5 stars. It is one of the finest hotels we have ever visited and sets the benchmark for luxury hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next stay in Düsseldorf.

Super hotel - from the first greeting to the last goodbye. Very attentive and accommodating. Every detail is well thought out. Very spacious rooms. Great location.

I just checked again. The Breitenbacher Hof is the No. 1 in Germany. I was invited there for an event. To state the good things first: Champagne, wine, and food were impeccable. The service shocked me. Alongside the professionals who appear in dark suits, they employ a young man in light, unironed chinos, sneakers, and a shirt/blouson with a zipper. He then actually served the food first to the only man at the table of 9, who also happened to be the host. To his left sat a lady. (> 90). To finish, I visited the restrooms on the first floor. It already smells bad there as soon as you open the door. My impression of this top location in Germany is, to put it mildly, mixed.

Truly outstanding short stay. It was a Capella hotel until 2021, but the termination of this collaboration has thankfully not negatively affected the Breidenbacher Hof. The hardware as well as the service level is outstanding and very hard to find elsewhere in a German luxury hotel. Rooms are immaculate clean and nicely appointed. Even the entry level Superior rooms are very spacious whereas the Deluxe rooms would qualify as Junior suite in most other hotels. Service is impeccable. A special thank you to Mrs. Radermacher and her lovely team from the Lobby Lounge for taking great care of us and making our stay memorable. Breakfast is also excellent. As remainder of the Capella brand the hotel still features a private lounge area (aka Living Room) for its guests to enjoy complimentary soft drinks and coffee during the day. Highly recommend and without alternative in the area.

The service at the Breidenbacher Hof is truly excellent. The entire team is very attentive and warm-hearted. The new rooms on the 6th floor are impressive :)

We felt very comfortable at the Breidenbacher Hof and would always check in here for another stay in Düsseldorf. All staff members were exceptionally friendly and always eager to make our stay perfect. Thanks to the communication in advance, our room was ready for us upon arrival, which was not a given, and we thank you for that. The room had everything we needed, the provided toiletries were very nice, and the kind lady from housekeeping checked in several times to see if we needed anything. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was a highlight. Unfortunately, our stay was much too short, and we would love to come back.
