Motel Blue Messe

After reading some negative reviews, we were honestly skeptical – but we absolutely cannot confirm them. The Motel Blue near the trade fair grounds pleasantly surprised us: Our room was exceptionally large, modern, practically furnished, and very clean. Nothing felt old or uncomfortable – on the contrary, everything was well-designed and contemporary. The bathroom was also modern, spacious, and well-maintained. We found the often-criticized breakfast to be pleasant, fresh, and perfectly adequate for a continental breakfast – exactly what you would expect and need. The location is central and well-connected, ideal for trade fair visits or a trip to Berlin. The excellent value for money is particularly noteworthy – you get significantly more than some reviews suggest. Our conclusion: Many of the negative comments seem to be isolated incidents or exaggerated and do not reflect our experience. We would definitely come back.

Excellent value for money. Small but delicious breakfast. Subway (U2) less than a 5-minute walk away. Plenty of shops nearby. In short, I would book again anytime.

Everything great!!!

A great room close to a metro stop! We had a studio room with a mini-fridge and a single hotplate. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable! The shower leaked, causing water to leak under the door and onto the floor of the hotel room (not a lot, but annoying). We only had one fork for a room with two people. A trash can hadn't been emptied when we arrived, which was less than ideal. The kettle and pan in the room weren't very clean; there was some limescale in them that could have easily been cleaned. The bed sheets were generally clean, but there were some stains here and there that looked like they hadn't been changed. Our towels were changed and hung up every day, which was super nice! Breakfast was also fantastic! Plenty of choices every day and the food was excellent! The elevator was very nice, and the lobby was also great! Overall, a great hotel and excellent service, with a few minor quibbles! :)

I stayed at the hotel for almost a week and was absolutely thrilled! The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were a dream, the cleanliness was spotless, and the staff was invaluable! Sevgi, in particular, did a superb job. She was very professional, incredibly competent, and absolutely friendly. I will definitely be back for my next trip to Berlin! 🙏🏼💗 10/10

Very nice and friendly hosts. The price-performance ratio is excellent and the location is perfect. The breakfast is plentiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I can only recommend it, and they even offered us coffee upon arrival.

My late check-in went perfectly; I even received a call beforehand. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, so I was able to access the hotel without any problems, even at 9 pm. What really stands out is their customer-oriented approach. Hotels often don't seem to care about that anymore (and I've experienced it often enough). That's why it's so commendable, and I'm sure it's not always possible. Nevertheless, this will definitely be my favorite for future stays in Berlin :-) Thank you to the team at Motel Blue Messe ❤️

Almost like new, very clean, nice breakfast Location on a busy street with simple wooden windows; the night ended at 5 a.m.

The room was clean and well-equipped, the breakfast was decent, and the location was ideal for visiting the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the poor soundproofing, so waking up was a bit of a shock.

A small, charming place to stay in Berlin. I stayed for one night and felt completely at ease. Very friendly service, clean and modern rooms. The breakfast was extremely satisfying and delicious. Free parking is available on the street; I had no trouble finding a space on a Saturday.
