Fantastic stay at the east Hotel Hamburg. The location in the heart of St. Pauli put all the best of the city right on our doorstep, and the staff were very friendly at check in and out. Our large room was beautifully decorated with lovely details and a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

For reasons of discretion, I can't specify which apartment it is... BUT the 70 sq m suites are absolutely recommendable, and the 150 sq m apartments with their fantastic rooftop terrace, while not for those on a tight budget, are definitely worth recommending. They include amenities such as two bathrooms, a dining room, a living room/lounge, etc. The room service is outstanding. Overall, the EAST is a "WOW" in every respect! I highly recommend it :)

Great hotel, fairly neutral staff – not unfriendly but not particularly friendly either, just neutral. Great breakfast, fantastic location. You have to like open-plan bathrooms, but that's to be expected when you book here.

We stayed at the East Hotel Hamburg from June 10th to 13th and had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel impresses with its stylish, high-quality ambiance and well-maintained, very clean grounds. Our room was comfortably furnished, and we felt completely at ease. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast: a wide selection, fresh ingredients, and high quality – ideal for starting the day off right. The location is also a definite plus: the Landungsbrücken (St. Pauli Piers) are just a few minutes' walk away, and many other Hamburg attractions can be easily explored from the hotel. The only downside was Friday night when loud music was played in the hotel bar until about 2:00 a.m. due to a private party. Unfortunately, guests weren't informed beforehand, which was annoying given our very early departure. On the positive side, breakfast was served from 7:00 a.m., so we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal. Despite this incident, we would gladly recommend the East Hotel.

No telephone in the room to contact reception, no possibility of having an iron, no kettle in the room, not even tea pods, at the price per night I don't understand.

We were at our third big event recently, and once again it was noticeable that the bartender on the left side of the bar, the one with the black horn-rimmed glasses, always manages to tell customers where to stand, sometimes to the right, sometimes to the left, and how to find their drinks—completely lacking in customer service. It's really annoying. It's unbelievable how he performs such a job with such indifference, showing so little enjoyment in it. It's not enough to just mix good drinks. There's more to being a bartender than that. It's a shame. He spoils the good mood of our friends' customers every time. And as I said, this is the third time at three different big events, and he always manages to make people angry. It's a shame for East. He could definitely take a leaf out of his colleagues' book. They all enjoy their work and are happy to make our evenings enjoyable. Regards, M.M.

The east Hotel Hamburg impresses with its unique design and stylish, almost luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, very clean, and offer a special feel-good ambiance. The staff is also exceptionally friendly and ensures a thoroughly pleasant stay. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience something special in Hamburg.

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere

From the very first moment, I felt completely at ease here. The atmosphere is exceptionally pleasant and stylish—I was particularly impressed by the lobby: modern, elegant, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The subtle, pleasant fragrance in the entrance area perfectly complements the feeling of well-being. The rooms were modernly furnished, spotlessly clean, and offered everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The bar is also highly recommended: the cocktails recommended by the friendly bartender were excellent, and the food was delicious. At breakfast, I especially enjoyed the varied buffet—it allowed me to try a little bit of everything and start the day off right. Another plus is the perfect location: I could easily walk to the Michael Jackson musical. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay with a great ambiance, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would love to come back again!
