Pentahotel Kassel

Fantastic large beds – I think over 2 meters wide, two pillows per person, very clean, a truly excellent breakfast buffet with the best Bircher muesli I've ever eaten. Free water dispenser. The only thing that could use replacing is our bathroom doors; they're quite worn and unsightly. We stayed in rooms 227 and 228 and felt very comfortable.

The room was a decent size and even had air conditioning and a small fridge. The bathroom had a bathtub 🛁 The staff were friendly and welcoming 👍 The breakfast was delicious with a good selection 😋 The hotel is very close to Kassel(Williamshöhe) train station 🚂🚃🚃

Underground parking also available for bicycles - I had an extra-large bed. The room was okay, and the bathroom was fine too! 200 meters to the train station.

Great experience. Friendly, competent, and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Rain showers. Fair price. Would gladly return.

The hotel has a great location and good infrastructure. Very friendly staff! The restaurant is very good 👍 However, there was no air conditioning, and the bathroom fan didn't work. Wear and tear everywhere – cracked sink, carpet stains Dirty windows Housekeeping only upon request – and even then, it didn't work. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels three times. If the location weren't so good and the price fair, I wouldn't stay there again.

Every year I spend a weekend in Kassel, and I always enjoy staying at the Penta Hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good. It's easily accessible, being right next to the Wilhelmshöhe train station. Next time!

Unfortunately, the room did not meet my expectations. The furnishings are quite outdated; for example, the sink had two noticeable cracks (though thankfully they posed no danger). The smell of the shower water was particularly unpleasant. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of food, but the drinks selection left much to be desired. The coffee was not to my liking, and the range of cold drinks was very limited and rather disappointing. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings.

The hotel is located right next to Wilhelmshöhe train station, making it a perfect location for meetings because so many ICE trains stop there. Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age. The conference rooms are neither functional nor up-to-date technically. The food is very good, as is the service. The bar is open 24/7, which is convenient. However, you have to be okay with the fact that all the hallways, corridors, etc., are completely black. The rooms are okay, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are in dire need of renovation. Bathtubs with old shower curtains are simply unacceptable. We stayed there as a group and, unfortunately, will not be booking this hotel again. The general consensus was unanimous. A shame.

Friendly staff. Good and clean rooms. Nice bar. So far, so good. However, breakfast is quite expensive - 23 euros (May - 2026).
