Clara-Zetkin-Park

Clara-Zetkin-Park is Leipzig's big central green space, running south-west from the Musikviertel into the floodplain forest. Among locals it also has a long-standing reputation as a gay cruising area, concentrated in the bushier, wooded stretches on the western side around the Nonnenweg. Activity is discreet and comes and goes with the weather and time of day; the park is busy with joggers, cyclists and families through daylight hours, so read the setting and keep any cruising well off the main paths. Practical notes: it's a public park, so be considerate of other users, stick to areas you can leave easily, go after dusk if you're looking for the scene, and always take no for an answer. Same-sex activity is legal in Germany, but public-decency rules still apply.
