Very friendly, you always feel welcome.

Always nice, always friendly; I like going there on Fridays or Saturdays after 11 pm. You always meet nice people, including foreign-speaking people.

I don't understand some of the negative reviews. It's a small gay bar with a friendly and personable owner and fair prices.

Nice little bar with friendly service.

The place of my youth. Thirty years ago, this is where I first got involved in the scene. And it hasn't done me any harm. Yesterday, after a long time, we were there again, and what can I say? I still feel right at home. Chapeau is small, quaint, and cozy; it's easy to strike up a conversation. May the place be around for many years to come, because it truly embodies the Mainz scene. Hello! We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it's exactly where we're meant to be. It's a small but fantastic shop. The hosts are friendly and polite. It's quaint, original, and embodies the Mainz way of life.
