AquaSplash è l'unica sauna gay dedicata di Thessaloniki — il successore, trasferito e rinominato, della storica sauna Splash. Ora in Vakchou Street, nel quartiere Vardaris vicino al centro città, lo spazio di circa 400 metri quadrati si estende su diverse aree con una sauna, un bagno turco, un hammam, una piccola piscina, cabine private e un bar. Attira un pubblico gay misto, locale e di passaggio, aprendo nel tardo pomeriggio e sera con orari prolungati nel fine settimana (solitamente chiuso martedì e mercoledì, quindi controllate in anticipo). Essendo l'unica casa da bagno della città, è il principale punto di incontro diurno e serale per gli uomini gay a Thessaloniki. Solo uomini.

It was a pleasant experience. Bumped my head against the ceiling in de dark spaces, where you can have sex if there is anyone you fancy. This night unfortunetly the only cute one was the doorman/bartender/whatever there has to been done he does it guy. But he stayed dresded, too bad. There is a steamroom but unfortunatly no steam, there is a not so hot jacuzzzi. I would not call it a hot tub, more a bubblebath. There is a dry sauna, which was a bit low in temperature as we Western Europeans like. But with some water on the stones the temperature rised quickly. Some guests did not like it that way and were using as an extra darkroom. When there is plenty of room for sex downstairs. The place is neat and clean. No weird smells or anything. It was quiet when I came in and I didn't stay too long. Even though some men were interested at first sight. I just wanted to feel the vibe of the place. It feit nice. And it is busier during the weekends the doorman/bartender told me. Maybe next time I will come during a weekend. But it is nice to know there is a gay sauna in Thessaloniki.
