Hotel Fiera di Brescia: l'ideale per chi viaggia per affari

Two nights at the Hotel Fiera in Brescia seemed like forever. One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was dirty, sad, dark, and neglected, with an atmosphere that was anything but welcoming. Even towels were missing: absurd to have to beg for the bare minimum in a hotel. The icing on the cake? The room wasn't even made up despite being requested that morning. The staff proved incompetent, disorganized, and completely unprofessional. There was a constant sense of disinterest in the customer. The hotel was completely disappointing in every way. A waste of money and a stay that will never be forgotten. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, and decent service, look elsewhere. Here you'll find only disappointment.

Reading the negative reviews, I expected hell! Instead, everything was more than fine. Excellent service, rooms have everything you need, and breakfast is quite generous! So I recommend it, especially since the room prices aren't high!

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone — unless your goal is an afternoon affair that requires maximum discretion. The underground parking, the two‑person jacuzzi placed directly at the foot of the bed, and the oversized mattress make the intended use painfully obvious. For anyone else — business travelers, solo guests, or couples on vacation — this place is a complete disaster. The room had no air conditioning despite 100°F (38°C) temperatures on May 27. Being in Brescia, opening the window is not an option unless you enjoy being eaten alive by mosquitoes. The bathroom sink was clogged, the radiator was leaking, and the safe didn’t work. Two nights in a row, a bus of 70–80 people stormed the hotel, taking over the “restaurant,” emptying the buffet both at dinner and breakfast, and ensuring that no guest could enjoy a quiet moment after a long workday. One and a half overwhelmed staff members tried — unsuccessfully — to manage the chaos. Basic courtesy (hello, thank you, goodbye) was nowhere to be found. The food was extremely poor and shockingly basic. You have to ask for everything: salt, pepper, oil, lemon for the fish (there is none), and so on. Breakfast was even worse: you clear your own table, shake off the crumbs from previous guests, ask for coffee, ask for hot milk, deal with plastic cutlery, dirty tablecloths, and artificial orange juice that tastes like chemicals. Staff clears tables loudly while you’re still eating. And the list goes on… but I’ve wasted enough time here. I checked out and left as fast as I could.

I booked this hotel at the last minute during a stopover, and I must say that for the price, it's absolutely adequate. The location is its strong point: the highway exit is practically at hand, ideal for those passing through and wanting to save time. The rooms are simple but functional; nothing luxurious, but everything you need is there. What lowered my overall rating was the breakfast: I expected a wider selection, both in terms of variety and quantity. For a hotel that primarily accommodates travelers, investing a little more in this area would be a significant improvement. Overall, a decent hotel with room for improvement. A well-deserved 3 stars, no more, no less.

Poor housekeeping. The smell of sewer is present, there are hairs or short hairs on the bathroom floor, sticky stains on the desk, and a beautiful pumpkin seed on the window, indicating that, aside from changing the sheets, the rest of the cleaning is not entirely clear. Truly unpleasant.

Very good hotel. Very professional staff. Very good price.

The room was small, perhaps an adapted single. Otherwise, the cleanliness, room service, and breakfast were all good.
