Scandic Ishavshotel

We had nothing to complain about during our stay.

Absolutely amazing breakfast, huge selection, great receptionist, beautiful building in a great location. But unfortunately a big disappointment with the room, paid extra for a superior and it did not match, moreover it was very poorly cleaned after the previous guests

The rooms and corridors are a bit shabby. We took a sea view room and it was worth it.

Family room for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children) with luggage, very small. Nice breakfast buffet, central location.

In a 15-day award for worst dinner, the Rica Hotel was ranked number 1. You were leagues better. It's a shame when you can't maintain standards and profit is all that matters. But that's pretty much the case with all Scandic hotels.

The room was beautiful (Master Suite). Very spacious with spectacular views from both the bed and the living room. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the room would have had sugar stirrers and milk capsules, in case you want a latte. I requested daily room cleaning, and the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned every day (floor and faucets), but otherwise, the cleanliness was good. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety and is of good quality. The location is perfect for excursions (it's very close to the departure point). The Airport Express bus stops right at the hotel entrance, although I recommend checking the schedule beforehand. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived until we left. If I return to Tromsø, I will definitely stay at this hotel and in this room again. More
