Aqua Beach Bungalows

The location is a strong point. Right across from the Yumbo Center, right in the middle of the nightlife and close to everything you might need (supermarkets, ATMs, pharmacy, shops). The property is super clean, with a beautiful pool and a heated whirlpool. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for self-catering, a comfortable bed, TV, corner sofa, bathroom with a large shower, and an outdoor space for breakfast and lunch/dinner. The staff is top-notch, attentive, and helpful. Naked access is available if desired. If you're looking for relaxation and privacy in the midst of the nightlife, this is the place to be! A special shout-out to Arek, who is truly top-notch, from the "two Italians," Luca and Alexis.

A particularly disturbing issue during our stay was that the owners never informed guests that a photo shoot would be taking place around the pool area. In an establishment where guests are often nude around the pool, this should absolutely have been clearly communicated in advance out of respect for guests’ privacy and comfort. We found this lack of transparency very inappropriate. As for the accommodation itself, the location is good, but the price is clearly excessive considering the level of service provided. During our stay, we also learned that other travelers had paid less than half of what we paid by booking last minute, which left a rather bitter feeling. The soundproofing between the bungalows is also very poor: you can easily hear the neighbors, which seriously affects both peace and privacy. In addition, several things that should arguably be standard are charged as extras, such as air conditioning or more frequent room cleaning, which makes the final cost even higher. It’s a shame because the place has potential thanks to its location, but the poor value for money and lack of communication mean we would not return.

We couldn't open the room in the evening, there was no emergency number, and you're left to your own devices. There was no German-speaking staff, and if it was your first time there, you had to figure everything out yourself. Otherwise, everything was great. Very clean and an excellent location. The bar closes at 7 pm (a shame), but you have everything you need in the Jumbo supermarket right outside the hotel. Sun loungers were always available, and everything else was great too.

For the sixth time, I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Aqua Beach. Nothing to complain about, just very satisfied with the bungalow, breakfast, cleanliness, and staff. It exudes so much tranquility, which is what really appeals to me. Hopefully, I will definitely return again.

We've been coming to GC for years and by far the most disappointing experience. Location is brilliant, but that's as far as it goes. Room was not cleaned for days, it was labelled as 'luxury', but far from it. Overpriced and everything (from the aircon to a ketchup sachet) comes at a extra charge. Very money grabbing orientated business. Would not return and I struggle to understand how some people put 5 stars, all people we spoke to during our stay were not impressed by the place.

I don’t know how they accomplice it again! the whole staff manage to arrange for you a great and relax holiday at a great location. Very clean, friendly and trying to help you in any way they can. Sometimes you see that after a couple years the place is not maintained as before, but here everything looks like it is brand new. A big compliment for the whole Aqua team! I enjoyed staying there and I will certainly come back.

4 Th time here Super location for going out in the Yumbo Restaurants etc

We stayed at Aqua Beach for a week as a couple. It wasn't our first time in Gran Canaria, and we decided to try gay-friendly accommodation. First, I want to commend the service; all the bar staff were 100% service-oriented and extremely helpful. I do have to agree with some of the previous reviewers, though: the cleaning was done quickly—at that price, I really would have expected a thorough cleaning. The loft's construction is certainly adequate in good weather, but unfortunately, we were there during a week with heavy rain and storms, so water initially only trickled into the room in one spot. We informed the bar staff, and they were very helpful but, of course, couldn't fix the leak. Management said someone would look at it the next day. Of course, that didn't happen. The next day, there were two leaks, and the second one was directly above the bed. No one repaired the roof for the rest of our stay. Although bad weather was forecast, there was always a chance of getting water. On the morning before last, the manager came to our room and asked if the water was still coming in – we confirmed it was, but nothing happened. In conclusion, we wouldn't spend that much money on this service again; there are definitely cheaper, higher-quality all-inclusive hotels in the area.
