We had a wonderful stay at this 3-star hotel. The location is fantastic, and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were always very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, with a constant smile. We would prefer not to mention individual names, as we wouldn’t want to risk unintentionally leaving anyone out — everyone was truly fantastic. The food was fresh, hot, and very good. In our opinion, the overall experience was well above expectations for a 3-star hotel. We usually never return to the same place twice, but while still staying here we immediately booked another holiday for October — which says everything about how much we enjoyed it. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it. The service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and location were all excellent

Rooms are a bit dated but spotless,staff are the friendliest and hard working nothing was too much bother for them,met some lovely folk,we will definitely return

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SPANIARDS! This hotel is geared towards British tourists, from the opening hours to the language of the entertainment. The pool opening hours are unreal; on June 1st, they close at 6 PM, claiming there's no lifeguard on duty after that time. If you want to practice your English and immerse yourself in British culture, this is the hotel for you.

I would say this hotel is not very family friendly. Seems to be for older clientele, even in half term. Day time games and evening entertainment are for older people. The entertainment staff were good fun though, the lady is great and they all worked well together. Food really lacks choice and is of poor quality. The pasta sauces were terrible (think cheap ketchup). The food is not hot. Trays of food were not replenished quick enough, and although there is fresh food cooked in dining room, you have to queue for it. Location is right by the beach and there are several restaurants a short walk away. Although we were all inclusive, we did eat out a few times. Fuengirola town is a bit of a trek in the heat so we walked 5 mins and caught the train. Nice and easy. If we'd been staying longer, I would have got the train to Malaga for a day trip. Would not choose this hotel again. Really needs updating

A good place

My partner and I were just on a week's holiday at the hotel and we had half board. The service was ok, but you had to pay €20 for a hairdryer and if you want a fridge in the room it's €52/5 days. The food was very good, but the same pattern was repeated many times in the food, that it was the same food. The service was good, but the rooms could hear everyone else's noise and the elevators were very slow even though there were 3 in the hotel. If you wanted to play at the hotel, for example, you had to pay for it.

Pros... very well located, very nice, has a small indoor pool, and the food was good in my opinion. Cons... the pool closes at 6:00 PM, the snack bar is closed from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, very little attention paid to gluten-free options, no pizza or pasta... (basically, you have almost no choice at all), and the pool is very small. "I mentioned a cook who was working the grill on the night of the 21st. He told me not to use the fish tongs to remove meat, and the cook was mixing fish, meat, and pasta with the same spatulas. My daughter is celiac, and those things should be done by a chef..."

Our stay at the Globales Gardenia was unfortunately quite mixed. The best thing about the hotel is definitely its location right on the sea; the view of the water was truly beautiful and made up for a lot. We didn't get a good first impression right from check-in. We weren't told where breakfast was served, nor where our room was located. Instead, we were immediately given a plastic wristband for breakfast, which we couldn't remove for the entire duration of our stay. Having to wear this wristband constantly was simply uncomfortable and bothersome. The room amenities were also disappointing. There was no hairdryer, kettle, or refrigerator, and far too few electrical outlets. The whole place felt rather uninspired. But what disappointed us most was the breakfast, which unfortunately was quite unappealing. I wouldn't choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuengirola.
