Aparthotel Cye Holiday Centre

Ok will review honestly. As everywhere has pros and cons. Hotel was about ten minute walk from the strip. Which brilliant. Hotel with transfers, not sure why you get dropped the ten minutes away. On the coach. Check in... One lady was brilliant, one lady not so much. I had to help a man bring up his booking forms, send it as an email and showing it wasn't enough. It was very confusing and a bit long winded. Everyone has to provide passports at check in, and fill out loads of details. They're was 7 of us and it was annoying. All the details were provided when we booked it. 80 euro cash deposit as check in. And tourist tax. Checking out we were getting collected by the house of illusion, so we came down to check out. Then some man was called, he went up to the room, rang down staying there's rubbish everywhere, so I went up and we were not informed we had to empty the bin under the kitchen sink ourselves. No one told us this. By the lifts on each floor was a waste room. No recycling or compost or separating. So I emptied the bag and that's was the, deposit back. I found it a bit strange. Lifts are very slow. Very slow. One didn't work at all. The inside one. Room was lovely. Was spotless. The air con in reception was brilliant. Didn't work in the room even with sliding doors closed. View was of a car park, you can be offered pool view at check in but yet again more money. Only ate chips at hotel. They were nice. But five something for a few chips and one sachet of ketchup. Cervezas was cheap. Cocktails weren't cocktails and were 9 euro. A slush puppy was a fiver. Pool was great kids had a ball for two days. Then a lifeguard came along and wouldn't let the kids have any fun at the pool. No floats, no balls, no fun. Spent his entire day leaving stickers on beds that were empty for more then twenty minutes, put all their stuff into reception. A pure party pooper. Kids entertainment was more of less the same everything night. Headerecking for us but kids enjoyed it. Pool bar slow to serve but lovely staff. Tiny playground out the back and a mini arcade. Beds in the morning fill up fast. Gate doesn't open until bang on the button. But that life guard should cheer up abit. Power trip springs to minds. Other life guards were lovely and laughing with kids and enjoying them enjoying themselves. All in all, I love Salou, would I be returng to the Cye holiday centre? Probably not. It was nice,full of Irish, but as for a family holiday, I will probably be going elsewhere.

Stayed at cye from 4th may to 18th may, check in was quick and the guy was lovely. Hotel is spotless even the toilet out where the pool is always a cleaner in cleaning them, cleaners everyday emptying bins and making beds, fresh towels everyday. The pool is small but I preferred it that way, Pedro the entertainment man does a kids club during the day and bingo and comedy at night, my kids loved him my son Thomas keeps asking can he go back to salou to see Pedro lol, didn’t try the food but my oldest son and daughter got pizza a few times and said it was lovely, location is spot on down the street from the beach and the shops. Stayed here years ago and the only problem I had was my room floor was near the bar and you could hear loud music blaring all hours of the night.

Rooms and hotel looked great and very clean staff were great

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The sofa bed they offered as an extra bed was extremely uncomfortable; honestly, the floor would have been more comfortable to sleep on. Furthermore, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We found strange insects in the bathroom, there was paper lying in the hallway, and several common areas were dirty. The terrace windows were particularly neglected and covered in grime. For the price I paid, I expected much better conditions. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

Great for a group of cyclists who enjoyed the Mussara 2026

Couldn’t fault anything with the apartments. Staff friendly. Location 5 mins from beach. Perfect for families as it’s residential area no noise after 11. Only problem I had was breakfast charged €67 for 3 adults and 2 kids. How do u justify it, churros and orange juice. If I had more time I would have questioned it. Other then that a great spot
