Scandic Gamla Stan

Nice hotel and very close to food and drinks, firm beds and cool rooms, clean and fresh. Breakfast buffet gets a pass + 👍

Really nice hotel in an older house in Gamla Stan. The bathrooms are fully modernized, but the hotel is (as many buildings in the area) not fully accessible if stairs are a problem for you. Rooms were nice and clean. Quite small area for breakfast, which was a standard Scandic breakfast with bake off bread, but generally a good selection. When busy, there are not many "time slots" or seats to chose from. Staff is friendly and professional. Our room was quite cold (in winter and it was -15 Celsius outside). Without any problems, the staff provided an overpowered electric heater, that was able to turn the room into a sauna in 5 minutes. I fully recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent location for stay in Gamla Stan. Convenience of getting to all the local attractions, and you will find restaurants close by. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the experience of staying there was very comfortable.
