The accommodation is in a great location. They provide a free electronic Bern Card for convenient use of public transport. The staff were helpful and explained the check-in and stay process thoroughly. However, as it's budget accommodation, you'll need to bring your own amenities such as towels, make your own bed, and put on your own pillowcases. A small breakfast of cereal and bread is provided.

Very expensive (84 CHF) for a room without a shower or toilet. No bath towels provided, and you have to make your own bed. Okay, it's Switzerland, but this is outrageous.

My husband and I are traveling through Switzerland and arrived at this backpackers hostel to rest for the night before continuing our journey in the morning. Luckily, we got a small upgrade; our room was a bit larger, equipped with a sink, a table, and a double bed. Our room was on the 5th floor, which was no problem at all thanks to the elevator, and it also offered a lovely view. It's also worth mentioning that the staff, and especially the receptionist today, were very friendly and helpful! A tip for anyone traveling by car: we parked in the nearby "Rathaus Parkhaus" (as parking is rather limited here) from about 5:30 pm until about 9:30 am the next day. You get a 25% discount at the hostel when you show your parking ticket. We paid the equivalent of about €30 (CHF 24.50). I had a good time here. My private double room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable, though for two people it would have been rather small. The bathrooms were clean also. The location is very central and well connected by public transport. It is rather expensive on an international scale but for Bern it was definitely the best option for a budget trip, especially since you can also use the kitchen to cook for yourself. They also offer free pasta/rice and cereal. I would definitely come back if I ever return to Bern!

It's a truly fantastic hostel. Clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly (Thanks Lucca and the girl who told me where to go running!). The Wi-Fi works perfectly. The location is excellent. And the kitchen, with its "Free rice and pasta," is a great convenience. Thank you! I'll definitely be back :)
