Good location, but otherwise disappointing. The hotel is only a 3-minute bus ride from the city center, which is convenient. Otherwise, the stay was disappointing: the exterior shutters wouldn't close, and the mattress pad under the sheet smelled unpleasant—it was clear that fresh sheets were simply placed on top without changing the pad. The bathrooms are small and very outdated, the reception closes as early as 5 p.m., and what is called a "hotel" are actually just ordinary residential buildings. Breakfast is included, but offers little choice and is of poor quality. It's adequate for an overnight stay, but anyone who values ​​hygiene and comfort should look for an alternative.

For 230 euros a night, this hotel was disappointing for several reasons: a) There was no air conditioning, which was difficult as summer temperatures reached 30°C. b) There was no fridge in the room, meaning my drinking water stayed as warm as the outside temperature. c) The bathroom lacked a bidet (not essential, but a nice touch). d) While the room looked clean at first glance, there was visible dust in the corners. e) One night, there was no hot water. f) The room had a musty, 'old room' smell, and I couldn't open the window for fresh air because it was on the ground floor, directly facing people drinking on the street. g) The reception was completely unstaffed from the late afternoon through the night. All communication was strictly online or phone-based, which is a major issue for foreign travelers who may not have a local Swiss connection or data roaming.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, good service and a good location

Excellent hotel, very good service; they even brought my bag to my room because I had to check in early. I was traveling for business. I had a quiet room and a comfortable bed.
