Lovely meal...service was fab....ladies could do with a clean

Google stated hours are incorrect. Says it opens at 9am on a Sunday. Went there at 10am and not even remotely close to open. Lights out and doors locked.

We are regular visitors for breakfast but hadn't gone for a few weeks. As usual we didn't ask for menu as we always have the Brasserie breakfast. More fool us! We didn't know that Brasserie breakfast has been discontinued and so drinks charged separately so breakfast came to almost £80 for 3! Sorry Cote...as much as we love you won't be back...

Walked in sat at table given menu... didn't get asked if we would like a drink... had free voucher for 2 glasses of prosecco didn't bother to use it as no one came back to attend the table so we left and went to the Corner House next door it was brilliant 👏

Went for dinner with my two teenagers. Two steaks ordered which were good, however my daughter ordered the crab linguine. It arrived looking dry with lots of semi cooked tomatoes, some of which weren’t even shown the pan. There were pieces of tasteless crab which had obviously been stored in water and 3 dried out prawns. If you had been blind folded, you would not know what you were eating as there was not any resemblance to the sea in this dish. The base was water and just bland. My children did not want me to mention it to the staff and a full plate of linguine went back once the others had finished their food and the staff took the plates away. I was amazed that the staff did not mention why the meal was not eaten. On our exit, I mentioned to a member of staff and he was apologetic. I am afraid there are too many good eateries in the same area to chance another return.

Excellent restaurant, top French cuisine, definitely in our top ten of Cardiff! Super friendly service, everything is brought to the table swiftly and with a smile. Top quality food, excellent value. Reservations are recommended. Worth every penny! We came back several times.

We had a very good evening here - good food as expected, but exceptional service. Bartholomew was very good on advising on seating and the menu. He was also great at supporting his colleagues to achieve good service. Been to a few Cotes, but this was one of the best. Also well worth signing up for the Cote App.

The waiter did not know his job, hadn't tried the food he was serving 😳

Superb food and wonderful helpful staff, Dean and Imad couldn't do enough for us.
