Monroe's Bar

I Only spotted this bar the other day, I've walked past it several times in the last year, But didn't even realize what it was (it looks like a shop)the reindeer on the window got my attention so I decided to check the place out. It was very quiet, as it was lunch time and had just opened. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is the usual range of beers and larger, Obviously They don't do cask conditioned real ales it's not that kind of place. It is very large and spacious. They organise events and it's the kind of place that gets very busy and lively in the evenings. Would I call in again? Yes. I would like to go in at night to see what it is like then. Update I have been several times since as they take part in the trinity music festival putting on local musicians.

Went in a Thursday night. Very few in it. Hopefully gets busy other nights. Bargirl was friendly

Went in for the first time service was quick staff were friendly wasn't overly busy but that to me was a bonus. Nice clean place . Would definitely go again
