London Apprentice

Six of us met for lunch today at this newly refurbished pub. Food ordered by 1.30. Most of it arrived by 2.30 but my fish and chips was last at 3.00. It was alright but Fullers do it much better. I’m pleased I didn’t have the sausages - they were pale and half cooked. Very poor. If you want a long leisurely lunch, most of it waiting for your food, this is the place for you.

I'm a local so was lookong forward to going back in after the refurb. Unfortunately they've whacked the prices up to almost 8 quid a pint. Also they only had one mediocre cask ale on tap. I shan't be returning.

I recently visited the London Apprentice with a group of friends to experience the pub's new look, the food was delicious. We would also like to give special thanks to Tatianna for her outstanding hospitality. She made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend the London Apprentice to anyone looking for great food, a lovely atmosphere, and exceptional customer service. Thank you to the whole team for making our evening so enjoyable. We look forward to visiting again soon.

had the sweetest waiter ever and she had the most beautiful curly hair, she was so lovely and kind - she is an absolute asset to the site! both my food and drinks arrived very quickly and it was enjoyed with a lovely view, what more could you ask for!

Nice meal. Glad to get back to our favourite local pub after the refit. Staff were helpful and service was quicker than anticipated.

As locals we love this pub and couldn’t wait for the reopening after refurb. Came on Friday, vibes on point lots of staff, great service. Came on Sunday, completely understaffed, app not working and stood at the bar for nearly 20 minutes. Others were complaining as they had reserved a table for Sunday dinner and not being served so they also had to go to the bar to order. To top it all off, there was a female member of staff working behind the bar who was the most rude and obnoxious person I have ever met. Why you would employ someone like that who is customer facing and represents your business is beyond me. Disgusting service and treatment from her so we left.

Some of the staff members were really lovely and attentive towards us, yet some were not so much, one man was quite rude to us when we were ordering drinks, my friend said she needed a hand with carrying the drinks over and when I got there the man was saying that she still had to pay for a drink that HE had misheard, repoured the correct one and she had to pay for that too. Regardless, the live music was lovely and the location is beautiful, especially on a nice warm night.

Location is bloody brilliant But had dinner there the other night and place was 1/4 full and we placed order and main course took over an hour to come. Starters never arrived. Big staff training issues - for example, waiter asking people to move while they’re eating so he can wheel bins past. Definitely should be done when patrons aren’t there. Highlighted to the waitress that our food hasn’t come and she said we should speak to someone in side… but there was nobody there. Mentioned to her again and she said “someone else” can help us Waiter collected the plates after food eventually had arrived and he didn’t ask how food was but we told him the burger has been inedible and bun solid. He said “oh they’re just training” We had pre-paid on their ordering app so there was nobody to speak to about it and overall just a damp squib of an experience Location is great but would be better if they had a couple meals that were great rather than what seems like micro meals from frozen. Grim and overpriced food

Service was very slow. Got our order wrong. We ordered sausage and mash, we were given sausage with chips… asked for a change and told we couldn’t change it and just had to lump it. Even the staff looked incredibly fed up with management. Only redeeming feature is the location.

Rahsat was incredibly jolly and fun and brought our order in good time delightful and tasty food and good drinks accepts camra discount too!
