Lovely experience, wish we sat by the window, music too loud to hear each other talk, the potter house t bone steak wasn't piping hot at all, food took quite a while to arrive as well. Kseniaa was a lovely waitress.

From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her positive energy and beautiful smile made me feel welcome and valued throughout the entire experience. Ksenia has a natural talent for hospitality. She was always one step ahead, making sure everything was perfect while remaining friendly and authentic. It is rare to meet someone who combines professionalism and genuine care so effortlessly. The food, the atmosphere, and the stunning views were fantastic, but Ksenia was the real highlight of my visit. She truly made my day and left a lasting impression. Thank you, Ksenia, for your outstanding service and for making my lunch at 20 Stories such a memorable experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Manchester. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding service, outstanding person, outstanding experience.

Great food, fantastic service, lovely views and for what you get the price is not indulgent at all, great value.

Excellent portherhouse and meet tartare

Despite the elegant ambiance and premium pricing, the food was disappointing. The presentation was impressive, but the flavors lacked depth and originality. Several dishes arrived lukewarm, portions were surprisingly small, and the ingredients did not justify the cost. For a restaurant that positions itself as fine dining, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the food failed to match the sophisticated setting.

I booked a table at 20 Stories to celebrate my anniversary with my partner, and we travelled all the way from Ashton for what we expected to be a special evening. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. Upon arrival, security demanded to see our physical IDs. At no point during our booking, phone call, or confirmation email were we informed that physical identification was required. We explained that we had digital copies of our IDs on our phones and politely asked if they could verify our identity that way, especially considering the long journey we had made. Instead of even looking at what we were trying to show, the security staff immediately dismissed us and repeatedly told us to go home and return with our physical IDs. I completely understand that policies exist for a reason, but policies should also be applied with professionalism, fairness, and common sense. A quick comparison between our digital IDs and ourselves would have taken seconds. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching another customer walk straight past security without being asked for any ID at all. It was difficult not to feel that we were being treated differently, and the attitude shown towards us was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. We weren't there to cause trouble—we were there to celebrate an important milestone, spend our money, and create happy memories. Instead, we were met with hostility, no warmth, no understanding, and not even a simple welcoming smile. As a result, we cancelled our reservation immediately and chose to dine elsewhere. Thankfully, another restaurant welcomed us with genuine hospitality and reminded us what good customer service actually looks like. It's incredibly disappointing that such a beautiful venue is overshadowed by such poor treatment of its guests. A great restaurant is about more than impressive views it's about making customers feel respected and valued. Sadly, 20 Stories failed completely on that front. We will not be returning, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a special occasion. Do better. Your guests deserve respect, professionalism, and consistency not to be made to feel like criminals for simply trying to celebrate a special day.
