Horrible pub rude staff bouncers are rude and try bully people wouldn’t recommend

This place sucks, music bad and won’t take requests

Was there for NYE. I have to say even though it was very busy, service was good and the atmosphere was great. Especially drag downstairs. However the door staff at the end of the night I overheard he was shouting at a young lady because she was asking about her coat. Not professional and completely inappropriate really. The young lady was sobbing and he was very very strict and rude. Toilets also a bit gross but it’s a club where customers regularly spill drinks or be sick (as in every other bar) so these are expected.

This is the state of the woman’s toilets - as a regular this isn’t just because it it busy this is an every weekend/ day occurrence - sort it out

UNSAFE FOR WOMEN Went here last night with my cousin for a late-night dance and karaoke. We don’t go out often and expected a bit of fun. The drag performer was genuinely funny and lovely, and the night started well. Things took a very disturbing turn when my cousin was repeatedly approached by two young men asking personal questions. She was uncomfortable and didn’t know them. Shortly after they left, she realised her phone was missing. When she reported this immediately to the door staff, they initially denied that anyone matching the description had been outside and spoke to her in a hostile and dismissive manner, implying she was just drunk. Despite this, she persisted and pointed out the exact location and camera that would have captured the incident. Only then did one of the door staff return holding her phone. We were shaken and decided to leave. As we did so, the door staff shouted verbal abuse at us rather than offering any support. After getting into a taxi, I began experiencing alarming symptoms including numbness in my lips and tongue and loss of bladder control. My cousin also felt unwell and disoriented. After speaking with a family nurse, we were advised that our symptoms were consistent with having been spiked. I have lived in a large city for years and have never felt so unsafe or unsupported by a venue’s door team. Customers should be protected and taken seriously, especially when reporting theft or feeling unwell, not shouted at or dismissed.
