Trivelles Rochester Hotel

Very nice rooms. Excellent employees. Really helpful with everything. Continental breakfast was very good with a man standing making eggs and served coffees when we where empty.

Friendly hotel , nice and clean , next to a Chinese take away and local amenities, quick walk to rochester town centre .

Small but very well organised room. Lovely young South Asian on reception. Comfortable bed. All seems newly refurbished.

I booked theTrivelles Hotel for a work trip based on previous reviews, which seemed very good. On arrival the staff in reception were good and showed me to my room (room 13) which upon entering immediately felt run down and dirty. On closer inspection the room was indeed dirty with splats of something up the walls and something spilt on the radiator accompanied by a hair, the bed was 'well worn' and every step around the room made the floor creak. It just didn't sit comfortably with me. I basically found another hotel locally and checked out. Reception did offer me another room but I felt the initial room set the tone of their level and I had already spoken to work and booked somewhere else by then. They were apologetic about the issues though and gave me the email address to be able to complain to them.

A lovely little value hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Service was outstanding. The room's fixtures were basic but it was very clean and perfectly comfortable. As this is close to the train station you may get some noise, but with the windows closes this wasn't an issue for sleeping or resting.
