Premier Inn Sunderland A19/A1231 hotel

Excellent rooms,charging points butthe disabled rooms are a long way from reception.

Stayed here when attending an evening concert in Sunderland. Check in was easy, aided by the friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was what you expect from premier in, with a comfy king sized bed, TV and shower/bath. The room was well stocked with toiletries and tea/coffee essentials, and clean and tidy. Our room was facing on to the busy A1231 road, so expect some traffic noise if you have the windows open. The location is super easy to access from the main A19 road, but is several miles outside of Sunderland centre (beyond a reasonable walking distance) so make transport plans if visiting the city.

Absolutely brilliant stay at the Premier Inn as always. Mel at reception is an absolute gem and attended to our needs promptly. She is an asset to Premier inn. I would highly recommend this location as it's so close to the A19 and very easily accessible

It was okay. Huge portions, food was okay. Veg overcooked for me - I like my carrots al dente and not soft, for instance. Service decent but not exceptional.

Old rooms, can hear the rooms above and next door. Bar closes at 9pm. Cars broken into in the car park. Overall a pretty poor stay and hotel needs serious modernisation and a bar/Resturant open sensible hours.

Staff were absolutely amazing! The manager went out of his way to accommodate whenever possible especially with dietary restrictions. He went above and beyond to make sure they were catered to which was really appreciated.

Standard inexpensive Premier Inn with very helpful staff. Has fastest EV chargers

Good breakfast, fairly decent rooms and good service. Main down side is that there is never any parking in the main car park in the evenings. Always ended up parking in the overflow carpark which is not ideal

No date as yet for the "purple nightlights in the shower room" upgrade but I'm sure I'll be happy to up the star rating to 5 when they get round to it. Perfectly acceptable 4 nights sleep, will be back.

Very clean rooms and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
