Stayed here for an overnight trip for seaglass hunting in Seaham. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled nice. Bad points were it's very noisey (the road is right next to it, and the walls are thin) and the water pressure for the shower was terrible.

Clean and comfortable. Big thanks to the morning staff in the restaurant, always happy and put a smile on your face 😀

we always choose this hotel when visiting sunderland. it’s in a great location, plenty of (free) parking. i was worried this time round as we now have a baby, compared to last time, but the kettle was lovely and descaled for bottles and washes. the room was clean and spacious, left us nappy bags, a travel cot with a mattress provided and was a quiet corridor on the ground floor which is great as we ended up using the pushchair as means of pushing our luggage back and fourth. staff are great and friendly every visit and give helpful information when needed. only pet peeve this time is that we could hear a constant noise/hum from the restaurant and it was super annoying all night but this is not the hotels fault. it was too hot to have windows closed, the fan wasn’t of much benefit so we had to suffer with the noise of the restaurant equipment lol thanks as always! i’m sure we will be back.
