The honest summary: Nice has about a dozen gay bars and clubs, spread over three walkable areas rather than one gay street. Most are small. Bars open in the early evening, the clubs fill after midnight, and Le Klubber picks up the last crowd at 04:30. Hours below come from the tourism office and Travel Gay listings checked in November 2026; small bars change them often, so check Instagram before you go.

    Gay-friendly, not gay bars

    • Coco Bar (Coco Bar, formerly Coco Vin), 3 Rue Droite: tiny natural-wine and cocktail bar, a regular first stop for gay locals.
    • Les Folies d'Edmonde, 16 Rue Benoît Bunico: cocktail cellar with drag bingo and lip-sync nights about twice a month; holds the tourism office's Nice Rainbow label.

    Cruising clubs

Three men-only clubs: Le 7 on Rue Foncet (three floors, steam room; check le7-nice.fr for days), Le Code near the port, and Morgan Cruising Bar Gay on Rue Claudia, west of the centre (Tuesday to Sunday, 22:00–02:30). For the sauna, see Les Bains-Douches.

    Closed or changed

    • Eagle Bar (Rue Emmanuel Philibert) and Malabar Station (10 Rue Bonaparte) are closed.
    • Red Kafé on Rue Halévy closed in 2024.
    • Gossip Bar at 7 Rue Bonaparte is now Magnolia; Le Kult became Le Klubber.
    • L'Alpha Bar, a men-only bar next to L'Oméga, opened at the end of October 2026. We haven't listed it yet because only one source has covered it.

    Tips

    • Thursday to Saturday are the busy nights; summer weekends bring the whole Riviera in.
    • Everything listed here is within about 20 minutes on foot. Tram lines 1 and 2 cross the centre; taxis wait on Avenue Jean Médecin and at the port.
    • Carry ID: clubs and cruising bars check it.
