Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur

The Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur is a 350-hectare fenced nature reserve on the riverside beside Puerto Madero. Its trails have historically drawn gay cruising, especially on warm Sunday afternoons. Crucially this is a daytime, fair-weather spot only: the reserve's gates lock strictly at dusk (roughly 6pm in winter, 7pm in summer), it closes on Mondays, and it shuts entirely on rainy or windy days. Enjoy the walks in daylight and head for the exit well before sunset, or you risk being locked in or escorted out by the guards.
