Alvear Icon Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night only in a Deluxe room. The hotel is lovely. The room was spacious and opulent, with a beautiful full marble bathroom area. Breakfast was nice, though not amazing given the standard of the hotel. We had drinks and dinner at the Crystal Bar. The cocktails were lovely, the wine list was good, and the sunset view was beautiful. We had sushi for dinner, which was fine (it was nice to have an option other than steak in Argentina!!). The service at the Crystal Bar, unfortunately, was not up to scratch. We sat with empty glasses several times, and had wine spilt during pouring twice, which was disappointing. The service at the front entrance and reception, however, was very good.

Excellent Hotel!! We congratulate the service staff and in particular Emilio for the table service during breakfast and Griselda for preparing an exquisite gluten-free chocolate cake!!

The hotel's facilities are very pretty and the location, excellent. However, the staff's attention was mediocre: if one did not ask, one did not receive much guidance. Upon arrival they offer a welcome drink, a nice touch. During our stay they were fixing the front facade, with drills and constant noise from machinery, a quite annoying situation that was not informed in a timely manner nor did it seem to be understood by the staff. Very nice gym as well as pool facilities, good service at the spa. Service at the breakfast restaurant was impeccable.

A hotel with beautiful architecture located in Puerto Madero, its staff is highly professional. Their concierge Francisco is simply fantastic; I told him what my expectations were for visiting the city and he took care of absolutely everything. Finding the best experiences for me and my wife. Thank you Francisco, you are exceptional.

Outstanding, distinguished, impeccable. All of their staff are efficient and cordial. Exquisite breakfast. Luxury and warmth. The facilities are modern and in perfect working order. I forgot something when I left and it was resolved in less than an hour.

The hotel facilities are excellent. The facilities are spacious and comfortable; we stayed in a suite jr 1403; the service in general eh very impersonal; does not have the characteristic friendliness of a hotel whose daily turnover is almost 500 dollars; the concierge can not advance the breakfast time in 10 minutes; we were provided with adapters to charge the phone with the warning if not returned would be billed; breakfast options are fixed: although tasty; benetine eggs or a simple omelet are billed apart

Excellent hotel. Gastronomy and exceptional services. Wonderful and super spacious suite. Stay at Porto Madeiro. 32nd bar. Walk beautiful.

Stay away!!! We went with 3 friends. We requested a room for three and they gave us a room with two tiny beds and a cot. Upon entering the hotel, they issued us an invoice for one amount, and when we left, they tried to charge us almost double. No one took responsibility; we spent an hour trying to check out without anyone appearing to take charge. It was one of the worst experiences; it is not worth the price.

Above expectations I recommend and would definitely come back

Modern hotel with large rooms, clean and well cared for. Excellent bath. Careful and friendly staff. Quick check-in and check-out. The area is quiet and beautiful. Breakfast is not from a 5* hotel; a maximum of 3*. Overall is a great hotel!
