Hotel Carlos V

Very important entrance, LAMENTABLE room!!!! SMALL, lack of hygiene, peeling walls, no minibar, not enough hangers in the bathroom, nothing to hang a hand towel on, toilet with a leak, the blankets are scraps sewn together. In short, according to what the Argentine hotel industry has accustomed us to, I think it does not even reach 2 stars!!!!

It is my second visit and I maintain my previous rating. Opinions differ but I think it is because they expect 5* services in a 3*. The staff service far exceeds what is expected and the rooms are what is expected. The breakfast is complete and appropriate. The cleaning staff is excellent. There are more luxurious hotels but this one makes up for it with its location. The restaurant is excellent and gives 20% to guests

A total disaster - the worst part is the NOISE, they rent out the hall for parties and it is absolutely impossible to sleep next to a party hall with music until six in the morning.

The staff's attention was very good, always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was decent and varied, and the location is excellent, as it is right in the center, which makes it easy to get around the city. As an area for improvement, the room was quite run-down. The mattress, made up of two joined beds, was uncomfortable. The bathroom needed maintenance, as the bathtub had chipped enamel and the faucets were leaking water. Furthermore, the room did not have a hair dryer and the soundproofing was insufficient, as the television in the adjacent room could be heard clearly.

We were on the first floor, it seemed like there was a party; the music could be heard and echoed inside the room. They sent us to a room that was occupied when we entered; they changed us to another room, and we had to request towels because there were none (they did not smell good). The mattress and pillows were quite worn out. The room and bathroom had zero maintenance.

The hotel has a privileged location but is quite run down, the employees are lovely, but the rooms are old, there is no hairdryer, and the heating does not work. They changed our room and there was a 15-year-old party, and it was very uncomfortable to sleep.

I booked 3 double rooms superior category, for TAKE OFF, the hotel with zero maintenance, corridors with old and dirty carpets, walls full of moisture and that smell invades the corridors and the rooms, the walls of the rooms with cracks, the bathroom a LITTLE nothing to do with the photos published by TAKE OFF, the very bad breakfast. Really TERROR.

Horrifying experience, the rooms seemed about to collapse put us a cross bed on the door of the closet, the bathroom dirty the dirty sheets, the smell of damp, it was nothing like the photos of take off. We came for 3 days and left on the first day.

We hired a junior suite paying the 3 months ago. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they were oversold and we were given 2 double rooms with humidity and were on opposite sides of the corridor. With my husband we juggled taking care of our son. The super aggressive night receptionist. The morning super friendly but no solution. They gave us lower room without money back. A scam. We are told by the staff that this kind of thing is common. They sell superior rooms and give you inferior. The humidity of the rooms and corridor very abundant attached photo. Don't use that hotel. It was an excellent hotel at the time. Now it's awful.

The hotel is in poor condition. It seems that since the owner of this one died, there were never any remodels again. Starting from the hallways, you can see unpainted walls and old carpeting that underneath has loose tiles that are noticeable when walking. Then we have the rooms. They're unpainted and beaten. The lights were slow to come on and the light table had broken glass. It was cold in the room. The carpeting was old like the whole hotel. With regard to the bathroom, the hot water took about 4 minutes to come out. The shower was very small and leaked water as it did not close the glass door properly. Dryer, I didn't have it. As for the Cleaning Service, it was correct. Finally, no minor detail is to explain that, there is a party room in PB and another on the third floor. You can't sleep. You have the music inside the room. They have no absorbing acoustic material. That is, they pretend to house people without being able to sleep. I want to emphasize that the only employee who was empathetic and helped us was Gabriela. The morning receptionist was left to notify us twice of different things and never "remembered". He also had unpleasant gestures on the day of departure. The one the night I asked him to help us left us over. The people of Tucuman when you name it the hotel already know the conditions of it and they were not surprised by anything we were telling them. I am really surprised by those positive comments. Not being able to sleep because of music is unforgivable. The photos they post of the hotel are not real or old. Look at the pictures I took. This is the reality.
