Yellow Submarine

I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The owners are very kind and attentive and live right at the property. The location was great and cost was pretty good, too.

We stayed at this hotel as we had an unexpected travel issue and were forced to make an unplanned stop in Punta arenas. Despite not having enough cash to pay as it was our first stop in chile and we arrived late the host was incredibly gracious and allowed us to stay and was very helpful in sorting a transfer. Pedro went above and beyond to help us and we are truly grateful!

I hate the place, always freezing, no heating, expensive rooms, no breakfast, everything was charged separately, and the hosts were a pain. A terrible place to never return to and not at all recommended, a bad experience.

We went into the pub for a Sexual Democracy concert and they charged us 9,000 pesos for a glass of non-carbonated drink, a 250ml Red Bull, and a 220ml Sprite—ridiculous. Not recommended for socializing.

The service was truly awful. I contacted this person to try to rent, and they told me to look elsewhere… I just found this accommodation on Google Maps. I really hope they improve their staff because they shouldn't treat people like this. Absolutely terrible.

Pedro and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old, but clean, with just the right amount of heating—not stuffy at all. It's centrally located in the old town of Playa Arenas, which is very good value.

Excellent choice! We arrived very late and tired, and were greeted quickly and received great service. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the service is good. Great value for money. We will definitely return.

Try to avoid this hotel if you have other options. The room is small and not clean, needs upgrades to become a real hotel. The owner tends to try the best to get profit from customer, so be careful of those price memos on the counter and door. Also the owner potentially treats customers differently based on their races. Pay him generously to avoid unpleasantness.

Clean, excellent service, friendliness is one of their characteristics.

The price was far too high for the quality of the rooms and breakfast.
