Hotel HD Natales

Booked the hotel at the last minute so didn't have a ton of options. Didn't want to spend much as it was one night before heading into Torres del Paine. Booked because reviews weren't too bad. We were very disappointed in that this property is classified as a 3-star. It is NOT. And that is proper for the region. It is not 3 star in Puerto Natales. This property would be best to change to a hostel after it fixes the rooms a bit. It is not a good hotel. 1.5 stars. It is run down and in need of repair. The location is further out and we were aware of that. You need a taxi or uber to anywhere including the very nearby airport. Breakfast is simple. basic scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, cereal and toast. They have dinner and I only saw one group order. I would suggest eating in Puerto Natales as they have wonderful restaurants. There is no privacy in conversation. We could hear the room next door, people in the hall and none were being loud. You can hear regular conversations. Internet is only decent in main area. The good part is the very nice staff. They are working hard, they are friendly and trying.

I am extremely grateful for the work and service provided by the hotel. From the very first moment, they were committed to providing us with top-quality service, from the room and amenities to, above all, the customer service. We are vegetarians, and they provided us with a full breakfast that accommodated our dietary needs. They also offered a variety of dinner options at an exceptional price. Our room had a view of the fjord, and we were able to truly disconnect during our beloved vacation. Many thanks to the hotel team for giving us tips, information, and recommendations for places to visit in Puerto Natales. I highly recommend this hotel; its location away from the city is a real plus, allowing for a complete escape.

Clean room with view. Good breakfast. Very nice people and gave us free room upgrade. The only downside was the internet in room was not consistent. There was a large sitting area behind the receptionist. Internet was good there.

Close to the start of the Fitz Roy trail and good restaurants. Very simple hotel.

This was a lovely jumping off point to Torres Del Paine. Simple rooms but the staff went above and beyond in several ways: early check in, helping us with bag storage during hike, taxis, boxed breakfast on the day of our hike, and complementary wine Carmenere on NYE. All the staff made our stay extra special.

The food from the hotel is great. We had dinner here and it was the best dinner we has during our stay in puerto natales. The service is great and very friendly.

Good communication. Always attentive. Wonderful view. Very old and poorly maintained hotel. The toilet broke on the first day. I don't recommend it if you're looking for a wellness experience. If it's just for a shower and sleep, it might be okay. Don't count on internet in the room because the internet is bad throughout the area where the hotel is located (including The Singular).

This is a very charming hotel. The owner and other staff are smiling and always circulating in the lobby, very attentive and available to help with everything from basic room needs to tips on sightseeing in the city or Torres del Paine. The breakfast is great, with bread, eggs, juices and desserts. The bed and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The room temperature is adjustable to the guest's preference. Although a little far from the center (5 to 10 minutes), there is a good supply of Uber or even drivers that the reception itself calls, so the location will not be a problem. We spent New Year's Eve at the hotel and had a very special surprise of a three-course dinner served with kindness. Long live Cisne de Cuello Negro/HD Natales, a great accommodation in Patagonia.

No functioning Internet or service — couldn’t check in for my flight. There were bugs everywhere. I have bites all over my back and legs after just one night. Needed a towel for my trek that I planned on returning and they tried to charge me $30 to buy it— that’s a highway robbery. Shower did not dispense hot water. The water pressure was so poor that i could barely wash myself. Someone should probably inspect this place.

We had our trip planned by a tour company who helped us book a 4 night stay at HD Hotel Natales. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff (a shame I didn't get any of their names!). They made us feel right at home! The hotel is a short taxi ride away from the main town. Room is a little worn, water pressure from the shower is a little weak. Wifi didn't really work throughout our stay. Breakfast starts as early as 6am+ which is really rare in Chile. Very thankful for this as our tummies are always filled before we start our day. I would definitely recommend to stay here as it really feels like our home away from home. We came to know that the days we were there, the wind conditions were one of the worst hence our boat rides got cancelled. But being able to spend some time speaking with the staff really warms our hearts. They treated us like their own family and we are honoured to have spent our 4 nights with them! Thank you all once again for the 5 star hospitality!

Don't go near it. The hotel has a different name, but you can't really call it a hotel. Everything is old and torn, the plumbing doesn't work, the water barely flows. It's far from everything, there's nothing to eat or buy nearby. The Wi-Fi doesn't work. The staff is only nice and friendly.

100% recommended. Excellent service, great location, good breakfast, close to Puerto Natales, beautiful view, and welcoming atmosphere. I will return.
