Very nice

A spectacular place built on the site of an old factory, with luxurious finishes and a very pleasing decor. The food is amazing and the service incredible. Even if you don't stay there, it's worth visiting and dining there.

This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful location on a Patagonian fjord. It is also a historical treasure, as you walk from reception to rooms or from rooms to the restaurant, you see the old rooms and machines used 100 years ago in what was once a huge commercial operation, but is now just a lovely hotel. The rooms and service are excellent and the staff were really friendly. The food was very good. We had a lovely two days here at end of our Chilean adventure and we were well looked after.

This is one of the most graceful and beautiful hotels I have stayed at. The quality of everything is exceptional; rooms, linen, views, service, restaurants, guides and concierge staff led by Matias. TIP: Don’t use the hotel transfer from nearby airport. It is typically shared and the price is 6 times that of a taxi. USD75 for a 5 minute shared ride.

I went to the restaurant. I had to make a reservation, and I thought I wouldn't get one because they initially told me they were fully booked, but the next day a spot opened up and they informed me. I arrived promptly because I was really looking forward to visiting the place. Simply put, in my 45 years, it's the best I've ever seen—a marvel of a dining room, from the spaces and chairs to the tables, the cutlery, the lighting, and the service. I sat facing the outside and ended up regretting it because every space is well thought out and decorated with elegance, warmth, and quality, and I would have liked to explore the interior more. I simply have to go back to enjoy other areas. I was also surprised to find out that it received a Michelin star, which exceeded my expectations, thanks to everyone who makes it possible.

An exceptional experience just two hours from Torres del Paine National Park. A hotel designed by excellent architects around a former freezing plant, where the old machinery and workshops have been preserved. Excellent suggestions and organization of excursions. Beautiful rooms with lake views. Impeccable service and cuisine.

This hotel is Willie Wonka meets Ritz Carlton meets Steampunk. Built around 1910 as a place where sheep were brought for slaughter, butcher and their hides tanned, the preserved structure has been transformed into a modern day luxury hotel. In fact, for a short time, this was a museum before being converted into a hotel. The machinery that enabled the cold storage is still present and pristine condition. The spaces are spectacular and make you feel as if you’re walking through another time in place. Kudos to the architects who maintained the integrity of the building and integrated all the elements needed for travelers to enjoy Patagonia. Our room had a million dollar view across the fjord and amenities included a large soaking tub, perfect after a hike. The bar and restaurants space is enormous with soaring ceiling heights, and all of the original architectural elements. It’s wherever the original Tannery was located. Breakfast is a buffet with eggs to order. Dinner was terrific and better than any of the two we had in town. And the space…wow… Last, service…. The staff was lovely. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Callouts to the concierge team who made restaurant suggestions and reservations.

The name says it all. UNIQUE. We enjoyed every minute. I recommend it.
