Delicious food in a historic location

Visited on a cruise ship and thought we'd walk to this local places instead of sticking by the pier as we like to support local places. Went here for brew and lobster rolls. They were out of the beer we wanted as well as lobster. We had already received drinks before being told about the lobster or we would have left right away. Drank our drinks and left. Verify they have what you want before they bring you anything.

Best seafood chowder in Halifax! Its creamy but light with dill, highly recommend!

Great spot!! The food was excellent. I had the chowder and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere gives a traditional pub vibe. Service was pleasant and attentive. Would say you need to go here if visiting Halifax.

What a fantastic place for a restaurant and Pub. The house is so interesting and has been around for over 200 years. We sat outside on the Terrace and had a great meal and beer. Don't miss it

I've been wanting to go for some time now, and glad I finally did The food was amazing, the chowder was super favorable no salt needed so YUM And the service was so friendly and welcoming I will be back!

My partner and I came here on a whim for the very first meal on our trip. We were exhausted but the food and service made us feel so comfortable and welcome. We loved it so much, we decided to go back and have it for our last meal as well! Will definitely be returning on our next trip out!

Disappointed with the nachos I ordered. Very little cheese on the nachos. Staff gave good service and setting remains beautiful. Quality of food has deteriorated over the years.

Great food, Great atmosphere.

All around fantastic spot this is! I went the last two nights, atmosphere is so rich in there, such a beautiful building, and our server Joe was great! Highly recommend the haddock or the Sausage & Mushroom pie. Hat's off to the whole team at Henry House who have crafted a wonderful experience!
