Visitors Inn

We really liked this place.

All staff we're attentive and welcoming. Rooms, hallway, pool and common areas are clean. This is my 2nd time staying here and will definitely stay again should I need accommodations in this area.

Great hotel. Great hot tub and pool.

Have stayed here quite a few times over the past 6 years. Never had any issues. Staff are always friendly, welcoming, pleasant. Rooms are always clean, bed so comfortable. Love that there is a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Love hearing the kids playing and laughing in the pool. Staff will do everything to make sure your stay is the best. I will never stay in any other hotel in Hamilton.

Visitors inn is not the easiest place to find if you're not from hamilton. The front desk lady was not helpful, I had to ask about restaurants near the area because this was my first stay in Hamilton. She handed me a piece of paper with restaurants on it, no recommendations nothing. I wasn't told about the inns restaurant or pool hours. Perhaps a new line of work is in her future. The room was excellent, jacuzzi was nice and well kept. My husband and I went to the Inns restaurant for breakfast only to be told our wait was going to be awhile because there were only 2 staff members running it and they were not expecting so many people. It's a fully booked hotel of course everyone was going to be there for breakfast. We left without eating and went to Tims instead. I reccomend this location but hopefully you won't have to deal with the front desk lady or lengthy waits for breakfast.

Quant hotel with a surprisingly good exercise room and decent amenities. It's also right off the highway if you're using this hotel on a longer journey. Edit: I stayed again and it was another pleasant experience.

Nice personal

I stayed here with my son while in town for a concert. The price is on the lower average side for the downtown area. This 4-star inn offers a good size and bright pool area, with hot tub and sauna that can be used all day. It was well-kept and clean. The staff are decent. There's a restaurant there, which offers breakfast from 6-10am, and dinner between 6&9pm. There are also a myriad of restaurants and shops within a 10 min. drive. There's lots of parking. and it's conveniently located just off HWY 403. The one thing missing is breakfast included. Almost every place has that now, and at $189/night, I expected that.

Great location if you are visiting McMaster University students. A well maintained Inn with a nice pool and well appointed rooms. The kitchenette rooms are very useful and are supplied with enough cutlery and implements. There is also a handy restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are pleasant and housekeeping are very polite.

When we got here we were told that the room we were booked into had been smoked in and when we got taken upstairs to see the room, it smelled like smoke and perfume. They offered to switch our room, but the only option did not include a Jacuzzi, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We explained that to them and we were Not offered a discount on the room, even though we were going to put up with the smoke smell. Other than that, the room was fantastic and the hotel is beautiful. The bed is very comfy and the pool is great.
