Hopeless location, first walk five minutes, bus and metro to get to the city. Fresh room with big comfortable beds.
We went there for a conference. So we didn't need rooms.
Very comfortable
8:30 breakfast: no coffee, no hot water, no fruit, no knives. Dirty counters. The employee says she's alone, but she's chatting with a friend in the hallway. Check-out is at 11:00, but the cleaning lady knocks on your door at 10:00. We waited a long time for the elevators because the cleaning staff were blocking the way with their trolleys. When you pay the price of the "Grand" Times Hotel... it's a huge disappointment!
Room is nice and big. Pillows were too soft and flat. They asked if I wanted daily cleaning and I said yes. First day was not cleaned and they said I refused. 2nd was just a towel change and nothing else and they said I only wanted a partial clean up. The towels they changed were not white and not sure where they are from. Tissue paper was not refilled. The included breakfast was disgusting. Only cereal, bread and dry cheese and was a mess. Overall rooms are nice and clean but everything else was a bit off.
I would not recommend. Hotel itself is fairly new and modern however that’s where the good ends. Upon check in they provided me a parking ticket to park underground but not once did they mention there was a cost. After checkout I noticed a charge on my credit card when I called to ask they advised it was for parking and the signs are posted outside regarding costs. Never have I been to a hotel that doesn’t tell you right upfront how much parking is prior to billing, At check in they asked if I wanted the room cleaned daily which I accepted. I had booked for 3 guests (2 adults and 1 child) upon entering the room there were only two towels. Headed down to reception and got the extra towel not so bad until the next day. The “rooming cleaning” consisted of just replacing the towels… took 3 left 2. Back to reception again. The next day we decided not to bother with the room clean and put up the do not disturb sign. We left for the day only to return and find they had entered to replace the towels, again took 3 left 2 new ones and even worse took one of our personal towels we had brought. Went to reception firstly they were out of towels so could not give us the third towel until later(someone did deliver it to the room). As for the missing towel they told us to just take one of theirs ?!? I booked a king bed room with a Murphy bed only to receive a double bed room, I didn’t make an issue of it but this all has added up. Lastly the shower head was loose and broken, shower head sat at 5’ height so you had to bend down to shower or detach the handheld which I didn’t dare do as the whole shower contraption was loose and appearing as if it would fall down. Again I didn’t complain thinking back I should have. Location wise it is in a nice spot to get to the aquatic center and there is a Walmart and many restaurants near by. Not worth the money would never stay again.
