I can honestly say The Butcher Chef was one of the most incredible dining experiences I've ever had. The patio feels like a hidden oasis, with lush greenery creating an elegant atmosphere that somehow manages to feel luxurious without being pretentious. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented and full of flavours that surprised and delighted us. Trying foie gras for the first time was a highlight; it absolutely melted in my mouth. A special thank you to our server, Rob, whose knowledge and recommendations elevated the entire evening. Every suggestion, from the dishes to my favourite pairing of an espresso martini with dessert, was perfect. I've enjoyed many wonderful restaurants over the years, but this experience truly stands apart. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Excellent food, top-notch service, dishes paired with excellent wine options. An incredible experience, especially when the waiter tells the story of how Japanese knives are made.

A truly exceptional experience From the moment we walked inside, it was opulence and attention. There was never a single drip on the table left before someone carefully wiped it away, no empty dirty dishes sitting in front of me for any length time, everything was whisked away promptly. I could really get used to this lol Also, the food was exceptionally good. Several free courses, I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the entire theme was a beautiful set of duck confit, duck prosciuttoz duck tartare. Truly a restaurant in its own class, and I honestly expected it to cost way more.

Every time we’re in Toronto, we always come here. The food is consistently very good, the service never wanes, the furnishing and surroundings well maintained. Keep it up, team!

Nice experience but very expensive. We ordered the tenderloin and the Striploin which were both around 105 to 115 each for 8oz/12oz. The tenderloin was delicious and Striploin was ok but nothing special. I did appreciate the fact that the chef did not lather the steak with excess salt. In fact, salt before presentation was minimal and they gave us salt options to sprinkle ourselves which was a welcome surprise and much appreciated. Asparagus salad was average. Also I didn't think the appetizer options were limited I was expecting more. Our server was professional and attentive. Its a very formal dining experience if that's what your looking for. We sat by the bar dining area but next time id prefer sitting by the windows where you can see plants and trees. I was expecting the place to be much larger than its size but I guess it adds to the coziness. Washrooms were impeccably clean and advanced with smart toilets 👍🏼 The prices for steaks are exorbitant so if you're a budget diner give this place a definite skip. To give you an idea: we were two diners and ordered the cheapest steaks on the menu and 2 drinks, a side, and a salad and our bill after-tax and tip was nearly $500. Having said that, our server did serve us a number of compliments from the chef which included a pastrami and a couple other items all of which were delicious. Setting is warm and they also have booth seating. Also they have 2 or 3 free exclusive parking spots on a first come first serve basis.

Best steak restaurant in Toronto! A5 wagyu beef in an 11-course tasting menu on the heated patio. Such a variety of very delicious food. Friendly helpful service. Even washroom is elite with Toto toilets.

I am 100% convinced that Kobe isn't dead and is actually THE Butcher Chef, cause this place doesn't miss! The drinks are fantastic. The black truffle tartar compliments of Kobe made me question why I waited till 2026 to come here. I've been purchasing cattle for quite some time now and the quality beef at The Butcher is top tier. I'm here on business, but will be returning for my son's 3rd birthday in September, because what kind of father would deprive his family of something so exquisite. Shout out to the staff they were all professional and so polite.

Without a doubt, the best high-end dining experience I've ever had. Every dish was outstanding, the wine pairings were phenomenal, and the sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable, insightful, and kind. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I have nothing but praise for this restaurant and can't wait to return.
