Spa Hotel Xbalamqué Boutique &

My husband and I stayed here last month. The pool was closed, no knowledge of that before booking. The room photos are very misleading. But worst of all they stole my husbands passport from our room. There was no safe to lock anything away. I hid it in my backpack and they searched through my backpack and stole it. The staff were not helpful at reception once we realised it had been taken.

Very good atmosphere and good reception, especially with the managers on duty

The rooms smell strongly of musty conditions and are dusty. When I stayed there, there was a robbery in the rooms on the first floor. I don't recommend it.

I didn't go to the hotel; I went into the reception area, but no one attended to me or gave me any information. It's very run-down. I went to the spa. It was a great temazcal (traditional sweat lodge) and I had a professional relaxing massage with the therapist, Daniel. I recommend it.

The staff was amazing, very professional and accommodating, there was great entertainment, security, and the location was excellent.

I had seen comments about purse snatching at that hotel, unfortunately it also happened to us during our stay, and when we asked for the security camera footage they refused to provide it.

The room smells bad; insects

Very bad experience. They don't allow guests to use the pool; they block the entrance with a board and scaffolding to prevent them from entering. They send you to other hotels two blocks away so you can use their pools. The bathroom smelled awful and it was difficult to get rid of. The only thing I can't complain about is the cleanliness; Mrs. Rebeca was very nice.

A hotel located near the main plaza in Cancun. You can quickly reach the beaches, nightclubs, and ferry terminals by taxi or public transportation. The rooms are comfortable and feature many archaeological artifacts in the common areas and hallways. I really enjoyed the spa; it was very relaxing, and the breakfast buffet was also quite good.

The staff took exceptional care of us, and our stay was very pleasant. The location is fantastic, and the facilities are very good, even if, for example, the old-fashioned TV in the room is a bit dated. There's some renovation work going on at the moment, but it's not disruptive. Thank you so much for the staff's helpfulness! After our departure, we realized we had lost our passports, and the staff were happy to help us by phone.
