The last time I stayed at this hotel before this trip was two years ago, and everything was great, with very affordable prices and a very original theme. But this last time, it's clear they're neglecting the place. The rooms are run down, the remote controls are broken and held together with tape, and the towels are old and poorly laundered. The restaurants are still in good condition, and the food is good. I don't know if there's been a change in management, but they really need to step up their game.

A hotel themed around Mayan cities... A bit kitschy and archaic in some aspects... The rooms could use a little renovation... But hey, it'll do for a night in Cancun!

Good evening: I hope this comment reaches the person directly responsible... I've been staying at this hotel for 5 years. The previous times I stayed with my family, the room, service, etc., were generally good. However, this time in May 2026, it was the worst experience. Upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of dampness, and when I went to put my belongings on the dresser, surprise! It was infested with cockroaches. We notified reception, and they moved us to another room, but there were still cockroaches, and worse, bed bugs. We tried to leave and stay somewhere else, but we had already paid for a 5-day stay, which they wouldn't refund. When I wanted to go to the pool with my own drinks and snacks, a very arrogant guy from the restaurant denied me access, saying that you have to buy something there. I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel in 2026. The worst experience... Sometimes cheap ends up being expensive... Good on the outside, very bad on the inside. inside P.S. What do you recommend for bed bug bites?

A hotel with excellent Mayan murals and sculptures; it feels more like a museum. Highly recommended; it's very well located.
