Motel 6 Bellingham, WA

Much nicer under the new management! It's exactly what you should expect when you just need a place to sleep while out and about.

Change of management which as really increased how pleasant this is. Rooms are being renovated in minimal ikea style. Dogs are free which is a huge plus in bellingham. Very very close to wwu. Close to hwy so some hwy noise but they give out ear plugs if you don't brng your own.

I stay here multiple times a year, often for four or more nights at a time. No one goes to Motel 6 expecting a four star boutique hotel experience. The rooms are inexpensive and no-frills. In my experience, they are always clean. Housekeeping won’t enter your room during your stay, but they will happily provide you with fresh towels if you ask them. The staff is minimally polite but, and everybody is always busy. They still are polite and friendly with guests. They do enforce their rules, so by far the most noise comes from the freeway. What are you going to do? Consider it a free white noise machine to help lull you to sleep in a big comfortable bed. It’s not supposed to be fancy or we couldn’t afford to stay there. Still, the staff works hard to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, and I always enjoy a chance to come back. (So does my dog!)

Great motel 6. Best beds I've slept in at a motel 6 in a long time. Hot shower and amazing hospitality.
