Hotel The WIT A Doubletree

Very convenient to everything close by..room was amazingly huge..price tag ofcourse dictates everything..bit too expensive

Great location, close to everything, which was definitely the best part of the stay. For the price, though, I expected the hotel to feel a little more high-end. The front desk staff wasn’t rude, but the service just felt very average and not very welcoming. We tried to check in early and couldn’t, which is understandable, and they did hold our bags. When we came back later, there was a police barricade in front of the entrance because of a stabbing nearby, which was unsettling. Checking in the second time didn’t feel any different from the staff — no real urgency, reassurance, or extra effort. Just kind of flat. Later that night, we got a text around 12:15 a.m. saying the elevators were down and the stairs were open. We were staying on the 19th floor, so that was not exactly comforting. We also never got a follow-up text letting us know if the elevators were working again. Overall, the location is great, but for the price I expected better service, better communication, and a more polished experience

Unbeatable location. The restaurant has good food. Definitely a great place to stay in this amazing city. The views from the room were very good. LAX rooms with lots of art.

Close to Chicago River, food is good. And the rooftop bar staff are very friendly

My room overlooked the subway tracks and it was quite noisy.

The Wit was very clean and nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable beds. The customer service was great. I would recommend my friends and family to stay when they visit

We came to theWit Chicago last June and ended the night at the rooftop. Ruben took great care of us then, and when we came back this Memorial Day weekend, he actually recognized us! We sat at the bar with him again and he took amazing care of us the entire night. Highly recommend the rooftop at theWit — great atmosphere and even better service!

Great spot

Since 2019, our company has been bringing Brazilian groups to Chicago during the NRA Show, and this year we traveled with a group of 65 people. We chose TheWit Chicago as our official hotel for this edition, and we were extremely satisfied with the overall experience and the excellent service provided by the hotel team. I would also like to give special recognition to Beatriz, who was always incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful to me and to all members of our group throughout our stay. Some participants from our delegation also took the time to compliment her outstanding service. Small gestures and the welcoming way we were treated truly made a difference in our experience. Thank you to the entire TheWit team for the hospitality and care during our days in Chicago.

Overall it's a good hotel. The lobby is sort of cramped. The staff was always nice though. Free water for all guests. Location was great close to everything. Rooftop bar was underwhelming. On site restaurant was just okay.
