Hilton Orrington/Evanston

Arrived at 945 pm tonight. There were 70 people in line waiting to get checked in. A very large group had arrived. Left after waiting due to no movement in the line and no communication from staff. Called every hour for 3 hours later to the front desk to get a refund with no response from front desk. Texted per their recorded instructions. Spoke with Stacy at the hotel at 1 am who was evasive and not helpful in any way for refunding my reservation. I was not able to get checked in— so they broke the contractual agreement ! Horrible experience! I will be filing a dispute with my credit card. Do not stay here!

Ant infested rooms. One of their own employees admitted they gave us a bad room. Then told us we weren’t entitled to compensation. Terrible Customer Service.

Located right in the heart of all the restaurants, stores, and northwestern. This is a perfect location if you are looking for a place to stay while in town. The staff is professional and pleasant. Check in was easy and a wonderful experience. Everything you will need is within walking proximity making for an added experience for sight-seeing and connecting with people.

My stay here was simply AMAZING!!!! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere made for such a memorable experience. What truly stood out to me, though, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Victoria!!! she made our night extra special and went above and beyond to ensure our entire group was comfortable and taken care of. I was traveling with a large group, and she handled everything so seamlessly! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will absolutely be returning!

This review is long overdue, but we hosted a weekend retreat at the Hilton Orrington (Feb 20–22), and had a truly wonderful experience. Our group was about 200 people—a mix of singles and families—with a schedule that somehow included everything from lectures to a full-on casino night, so “simple” was definitely not the vibe. And yet, the entire weekend ran smoothly thanks to an incredible team. Everyone—from the front desk and security to the room attendants and banquet staff—was attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful (even when we were probably not the easiest group to keep up with). A very special thank you to Kaden and Seta from the sales office, who were our initial contacts and helped set everything in motion; Erin, Assistant Events Director, who answered every question and made sure each detail was thoughtfully set up for success; Tony, the banquet manager, who handled everything with a constant smile; and Saida, who always seemed to be one step ahead of us, anticipating exactly when help was needed. We’re also so grateful to the broader team: Vanessa, Ramdani, Olayemi, and Yanisa at the front desk; Lily, Pedro, Javier, Modesto, Jonathan, Oswaldo, Joe, and Roberto on the banquet team; Hassan and Humberto behind the scenes; Veronica, Mariana, Evangelina, Martha, Margarita, Fatima, Gentille, and Olha in housekeeping; and Matthew and Froy in security and property operations. It truly felt like a team effort at every level, and their professionalism (and patience!) made all the difference. We’re very grateful for the experience.

Absolutely loved my experience at this hotel location. I stay in different Hiltons across the nation every week and this is one of my top locations. Daniel at the front desk is the best and so helpful! And the valet staff is so great at making sure I hail a taxi safely. I feel very well cared for by this Hilton staff.
