Rodeway Inn Grandville - Grand Rapids

Looked nice, didn't have a reservation and went to the wrong hotel.

Nicely updated and polite staff. Disappointed in the Free Breakfast as it is literally just Coffee.

Clean and affordable. Nice staff.

We got a jacuzzi room, and a regular room for the kids. They both were very clean. No bugs, no weird smells overall very nice. Had a big mini fridge. The jacuzzi was big and easy to use. Had a really nice clean indoor pool. No hot tub or breakfast which was a little bit of a disappointment, but It was close by to many restaurants, fast food, and shopping. Very low key. We will definitely be back!!!

Place is OK kind of dirty but it served his purpose. I can’t complain. The beds were comfortable. Nobody bothered me. I’m OK.

Horrible experience was told I rented room and even changed rooms for days but wasn't even there some of those days so my identification I'm supposed to provide every day to renew room per Choice policy was never checked obviously when I wasnt even there. At another stay I was called down by owner to get screamed at about not knowing him or anything even though I have my maps with my location that say different as we spent many days there as well as his other location Comfort Suites in Grandville which I did not know he owned until I ran into him at check in one day and he asked why I was changing hotels now but recent experiences I would not recommend his hotels to anyone based on how they treated us and then lied over multiple issues I had brought up to Choice hotels.

Nice and clean. The area is nice.

The good: The price is right! They have kept it nicely updated. Pool Arcade room w/ 1 pinball, 1 claw, 1 motorcycle ride, 1 Vintage Pac-Man, football and air hockey. Vending with pop and snacks Bowling alley and roller rink next door. Bowling alley has a big arcade. Branns also right next door. The bad: They advertise free breakfast and no longer offer it. They no longer have a hot tub They no longer have tables and chairs for gatherings in their pool area.

Great room at a good price. No breakfast, but was told it wasn't used much so to cut rental costs they cut out the breakfast. Understandable. Booked the room ahead of time and didn't see the 100$ deposit. They asked for 50$. I only had 30$ left and they allowed it. Location is near everything! Clean rooms, no bugs, great service, big mini fridge.
