Amazing beach, spectacular sunrise!

Michael is the best valet person ever. He was so kind and attentive to our needs. I would definitely book again knowing Michael will be there to assist me at the front. Give him a raise!!! Best valet man ever

Everyone was great but I do wish they'd take a second to think about what people want with all the renovations. We paid for a really nice room but it lacked a microwave and didnt have a hook to steam my dress even though the room had a steamer. Its the little things that still matter

We pulled up to the valet and were told there was no room. Then, we had to come back and park “when more guests checked out.” There was one attendant, who was doing his best, and one African American lady in a navy pant suit that by far had the worst attitude and customer service I have ever experienced. She threw our key on the desk and said with an exhale of disgust, “ughh it’s in the second lot, you just have to wait,” and rolled her eyes. Well, I certainly didn’t park it there. She never told the attendant that the key was there waiting, as their digital system that they urged us to use a few minutes prior was down. We waited well over 40 minutes for our car. We have been coming here for years and this did it. I get that there is construction, but focus less on the money grab and more on customer service when you have zero amenities available and can’t seem to work your own systems. Last time for us.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is so incredibly nice. Debra was exceptional! She was so friendly and accommodating. Jonsi was also super friendly. Shannon was amazing too!

Cannot wait to see all the updates next year…the service hands down was outstanding !! Room amenities…could be better but I think they are still in the process of updating…no coffee machine…but the views of the ocean….takes the cake & I can walk to get coffee !!! Watching the sunrise & sunset amazing !! Thank you for the amazing time…& I know it will be amazing next year !!

First of all, the service at this hotel was amazing. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The valet crew were especially helpful with making sure we got our cars quickly, opened our doors for us, took our luggage and just were overall friendly and professional. They really went above and beyond multiple times each day we were there to make us feel welcome and important. Unfortunately, we went to this resort during February while they were doing renovations, so we weren’t able to utilize the spa, the fitness room, restaurant, pool, anywhere outside at all, and, since we had a business conference and were one of the last people to book our room, we didn’t have the option of a king bed in an ocean view room, so the main upside was just how great the staff was. If we ever travel to Jacksonville again, I’d like to see the potential it has when it’s not cold and going through renovations.

We recently stayed at One Ocean during their renovation and upcoming rebranding (soon to become Dune House), and even with the transition underway, we had a truly wonderful experience. The grounds and oceanfront setting are still absolutely beautiful, and you can already sense the exciting transformation taking place. While some amenities including the swimming pool and certain resort features are currently unavailable (just a helpful heads-up for future guests), the team more than made up for it with outstanding service and genuine hospitality. We were celebrating a special occasion, and Debra and her team went above and beyond with a thoughtful surprise treat that made our stay feel incredibly personal and memorable. They also graciously accommodated an early check-in, which made our arrival seamless and relaxing. A special thank you to Debra- her warmth, hospitality and professionalism truly stood out! Location is perfect and walkable to a ton of restaurants and, of course, the beautiful beach. We’re excited to return once the transformation into Dune House is complete, it’s clear something special is coming. Highly recommend for anyone who values location, service, and thoughtful hospitality!
