The Campbell House Lexington, Curio Collection by Hilton

The room size was very misleading based on the pictures on their website. We stayed in “The Filly” (2 queen beds). Couldn’t even fit a roll away cot in the room for an extra person! I had to go buy a roll up mat and sleep on the floor. The photos on their website make the rooms appear to be large with plenty of room but that definitely is NOT the case. We will never stay here again. Motel 6 and The Red Roof Inn rooms are bigger… The woman at the front desk was very nice at least!

The staff were extremely accommodating. My husband requested wine, and a special treat on arrival as it is our anniversary. Ms. Catherine provided a bottle of red wine and some chocolate covered strawberries. He also asked if it was possible to have a small fridge brought to the room, which they did. We enjoyed the ambiance at the bar inside the Rackhouse Tavern. On Sunday night we had cocktails and appetizers at the bar. Our bartender was excellent, the food and drinks were delicious too. The interior decor is very nice. Our room had some issues. The shower wouldn’t drain one night and maintenance had to come intervene. At some point, there was a shower door in the bathroom, but only the track is left. A shower curtain was in its place and it was too short, so the bathroom floor would have to be wiped up with our extra towels after each shower. They did get the shower curtain replaced halfway through our stay. The pedestal sink in our bathroom was not attached to the wall and was unsteady (at best) if you touched it. Maintenance was notified about this as well, but was not addressed during our stay. I would recommend The Campbell House if you’re traveling without children.

The rooms are fine but not exquisite. The building is old in general so there part of it is what they're working with. Getting to a room is a pain, it is easy to get lost and the signage is less than good. I think the staff may be overworked and seem to be dealing with a lot that should probably be done by management. I don't think I saw anyone smile other than barista at the coffee shop. I think once you get past the cool statue and pretty exterior of this hotel you find just your run of the mill hotel.

The room was tiny and you couldn't even put your suitcase on a rack. Bathroom was too small for two people. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I've not stayed in the rooms but the service is on point with exceptional,classy women,that are very attentive, attractive,charasmatic and if I forgot to say attractive I apologize..lol But all around amazing down home southern hospitality in a very clean and beautiful environment with a quality bar, and coffee service at a very affordable price

I came in town for business and this place had amazing reviews so we decided to stay here and I highly do no recommend unless you are only grabbing a drink at the bar and do not plan to stay or eat. - Upon checking in we were not asked to be helped with our luggage - the room felt hot and carpet needs to be replaced and the shower curtain needed to be changed. - we sat at the bar and for the drinks they were decent but we waited over an hour and half for two steaks and everytime we asked they were annoyed that we were bothering them with our order. I eventually got up and asked for a manager and they did give us money off but the entire bar seem to be annoyed with us and we just felt very unwelcome. We checked out the following morning and stayed somewhere else and do not plan to return.
