Queer Writers Workshop

<span><br></span><div dir="auto">In-person at the MKE LGBT Community Center and virtual on Discord!<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Queer Writers Group will run from 12pm-2pm every first Saturday.<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">We'll start with briefs intros. You can shared your preferred name, preferred pronouns, and what brought you to QWG.<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Afterward, we'll have a prompt. These prompts can be used to write poetry or prose, whatever works for you! Writing time will last about 30 minutes.<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Next, those who wish to share what they wrote are welcome to. This is not a time to critique or judge your fellow group member's work, but to provide a safe space for them to share without fear.<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">After sharing, we will use the rest of the time to work on the prompt more or our own separate projects. This would be time to, if asked, provide critique and suggestion. Remember, consent is key and unsolicited advice could do more harm than intended! Don't push or pressure.<div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Finally, we close out at 2pm, bid our farewells, and make our way out of the center/Discord server.
